Are there any? Or is it just a myth? Has anyone ever managed to get a
plumber, electrician, or carpenter to visit a private villa?
Over the past 3 weeks I took a holiday supervise the installation of a
kitchen. Builder/carpenter, plumber, and electrician were all "primed"
during the preceeding 6 months. After 10 days overdue I told the three of
them not to bother to come. I did all their jobs myself.
Now I just have to assemble the IKEA bits and screw them to the wall. I hope
the decorator comes. But I guess I have saved about 35000:- on tradesmens
fees. Not bad for 3-weeks work! Pity there was no time for a holiday.
By the way, I found a lovely little restaurant in Upplands Väsby that I can
recommend, just down the road from the station. The food is reasonable, and
cheap, and I have treated my wife to a couple of lovely meals there. It is
called "Sybilla".
